The Riga City Municipality, as the shareholder of Rīgas ūdens SIA, will convene an Extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting on 22 July 2026.

On 4 June this year, the shareholders’ meeting approved the Letter of Expectations of the Riga City Municipality, in its capacity as the shareholder, setting out the objectives for Rīgas ūdens SIA for the medium-term strategy period until 2030.

Rīgas ūdens SIA has published its unaudited interim condensed financial statements for the first three months of 2026. During the reporting period, the company maintained stable financial results, with operating revenue increasing by 14.5% compared to the corresponding period last year, while EBITDA reached EUR 10.2 million.

At the shareholders’ meeting of Rīgas ūdens SIA, the company’s Annual Report for 2025 and the assessment of its 2025 performance results were approved. The meeting also adopted a decision on allocating the company’s profit for the previous year to dividends, the development of water management infrastructure, and the company’s further operational development.

The international credit rating agency Moody’s Ratings has reaffirmed the A3 long-term issuer rating of Rīgas ūdens SIA, with a stable outlook.

Latvijas Banka has approved the new base prospectus for the bond programme of SIA "Rīgas ūdens", enabling the company to continue the bond issuance programme launched in 2025 and issue European Green Bonds (EuGB) for the remaining aggregate amount of up to EUR 40 million.

SIA "Rīgas ūdens" European Green Bond Allocation Report, together with the independent post-issuance review conducted by "Sustainable Fitch", confirms that the EUR 20 million raised through the Company’s European Green Bond (EuGB) issuance on 6 May 2025, is being used to finance EU Taxonomy-aligned capital expenditure projects.

At the meeting of the Supervisory Board of SIA “Rīgas ūdens” held on 21 April, a decision was taken to extend the term of office of Management Board Member Normunds Zvaunis for a further five years, until 14 May 2031.

On April 10, 2026, SIA “Rīgas ūdens” held a webinar to present its audited financial results of 2025 and other strategic developments.
